The ride from Alcudia to the Orient...a small town in the mountains on the west side of the island...takes you along some of the small cycle tracks that crisscross the island then up a 6 mile (10 km) 1500 foot climb all on quite nearly traffic free roads. It is no wonder that many of the pro teams do their spring training here.
