Long Beach Bike Fest Plein Air Competion

En Plein Air is a French expression that means in open air and in particular refers to painting in open air. The Long Beach Art Council sponsored the Plein Air Competition in association with this year's Long Beach Bike Festival. Most of the art shows cycling related scenes from Long Beach. The art work was displayed at the Phantom Gallery on the Promenade and the top 25 are on display at the Long Beach Art Gallery through the month of May.
